Happy Earthy Day my friends! Meet the newest addition to the property-a hand crafted, Japanese soaking tub (aka hot tub)...crafted from Vermont White Cedar-this tub is slowly being filled with water, swelling up the wood and sealing in its own imperfections. It may need some assistance from its craftsmen-but I have every confidence that we’ll be resting our tires bones in this barrel shaped bath this season-the water will be heated by our wood pellet boiler-the same one that heats our greenhouse! I won’t pretend to know anything about the process other than it took many hands, a lot of maniacal hammering that could be heard from Canada, months of Sunday’s (so to speak) and an excitement undulating from our aches and pains that will ensure this creation is completed. Thanks to @sonofly @spencermewherter !!!
