Join Our Amazing Farm Community

Our food is grown for and by our members and supporting community. In addition to getting delicious locally grown produce, our CSA Members support local food systems, while developing and deepening their relationship with other community members and the land.

Cotyledon Farm is an independent, woman-owned and operated business. Our produce is grown using OMRI (organic standard) approved fertilizer, soil inoculants and pest control. No herbicides used. Ever. We are engaged with UMass Extension and NRCS for continued and enhanced conservation and sustainable growing practices.

CSA Member Volunteer Farm Hours

Click the button below to sign up for your member volunteer farm hours and secure your shift. WEEKDAY shifts are available only to our current CSA members. WEEKEND shifts are open to the public. The calendar will only allow for a minimum of 24 hours notice for registration, so please plan ahead. Attendees must be 12 years of age or older. Youth must be with an adult guardian.

Please sign up only for the hour you plan to begin your shift. Indicate the length of your stay (1 hour minimum), number of people attending, and any relevant health/mobility information. Shifts are listed and are 8am-12pm and 1-5pm depending on the days. There is no need to sign up for multiple starting times in the same day.

Typical task include weeding, transplanting, bed prep (raking, laying out landscape fabric, etc.), trellising, harvesting, washing and packing produce, and more. Please wear sturdy, closed toed shoes, and be ready to work with appropriate clothing, including rain gear. Hiking boots and comfortable clothing you’d wear for yard work are ideal.

Weekday Work: You are welcome to join our BYO bagged community lunch 12-1pm. You may not work through lunch! This is an intentional pause for everyone working on the farm. Please plan accordingly.

Any questions or concerns, please contact CotyledonFarm@gmail.com.
